We’ve replaced bulky denims and rigid canvas with Orvis PRO ACTIVFABRIC™ technology, the industry’s most puncture- and snag-resistant fabric for its weight first unveiled in the best-selling PRO Approach Pant, and then added body-mapping throughout the thigh, knee, and shin. That’s high-level protection in all the places you’d normally face briars, thorns, and every other pokey plant intent on slowing you down, making them highly reinforced, brush-ready pants made for moving. Imagine the comfort of stretch fabric throughout that gives you flexibility through any movement, because they have it in spades, with heat-dumping zones across the back of leg to keep you cool and comfortable as the day warms. Originally conceived as a dry-weather pant, this version features a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) that adds a water-resistant coating to confront early morning dew, cold hoarfrost, or even a light rain.
